Dr. Tracy K. Larson, Founder of The Regulation Shift™
Dr. Tracy K. Larson is a developmental school psychologist, consultant, applied researcher, and systems thinker specializing in regulation, relational dynamics, leadership, and organizational functioning under pressure.
Her work bridges developmental science, applied consultation, implementation, and more than two decades of experience working within complex human systems.
Across education, early childhood, university, organizational, and interdisciplinary settings, she has helped individuals and groups better understand how environments, stress, relationships, and systems conditions affect what people are able to access and sustain.
Dr. Larson developed The Regulation Shift™ to translate this body of knowledge into a practical framework for understanding behavior, capacity, leadership, relationships, and systems differently.
Rather than beginning with the assumption that an individual needs to try harder, cope better, or perform differently, her approach examines the conditions shaping functioning in the first place.
She currently serves as Director of Early Childhood Partnerships at the University of Pittsburgh’s Office of Child Development. The Regulation Shift™ was developed independently through her professional scholarship and practice and is offered separately from her university role.
