Protecting capacity while leading through pressure
Leadership becomes more difficult when pressure is sustained, priorities compete, and the people responsible for holding everything together are operating near the limits of their own capacity.
The Regulation Shift™ Leadership Cohort is a six week guided experience for leaders who want to better understand what pressure is doing within themselves, their relationships, and the systems they lead.
This is not a traditional leadership course focused on becoming more productive, more resilient, or better at pushing through. It is a structured space to examine the conditions shaping capacity and develop more sustainable ways of leading.

What We Will Explore
Across six weeks, participants will examine how environments, relationships, expectations, and leadership practices affect regulation and capacity.
Week 1: The Conditions Surrounding Capacity
Identify the environmental and organizational conditions influencing how you and the people around you function.
Week 2: What Pressure Changes
Examine how sustained pressure affects attention, flexibility, decision making, communication, connection, and access to existing skills.
Week 3: Recognizing Capacity Drains
Identify recurring demands, patterns, and friction points that consume capacity across your leadership role and organization.
Week 4: Regulation and Relational Leadership
Explore how a leader’s own regulation influences communication, trust, psychological safety, and the broader regulatory climate.
Week 5: Protecting Capacity in Practice
Develop practical ways to adjust expectations, communication patterns, workflows, boundaries, and decision structures.
Week 6: Leading More Sustainably
Clarify what you want to preserve, what needs to change, and how you will carry the work forward after the cohort ends.

Investment and Accessibility
Standard Cohort Tuition
$2,500 per participant
Tuition includes all six live sessions, cohort materials, guided reflection activities, and practical tools for applying the framework.
Supported Access
A limited number of reduced tuition spaces may be available for participants working in settings where financial resources are limited.
If cost would prevent you from participating, you may indicate that on the application. Requesting supported access will not affect consideration for the cohort.
Application Process
Because each cohort is intentionally small, prospective participants complete a brief application before enrollment.
The application is designed to help determine whether the cohort matches your current leadership needs and whether the timing is right for this kind of reflective work.
Participation is not determined by title, prestige, or organizational size. The most important considerations are readiness to engage honestly, respect for the confidentiality of other participants, and willingness to examine how leadership conditions affect capacity.
A Different Kind of Leadership Space
Many leadership environments emphasize certainty, speed, visibility, and constant performance. Leaders are often encouraged to manage pressure more effectively without examining the conditions producing that pressure.
The Regulation Shift™ begins from a different premise: capacity is not fixed, and changes in capacity are not simply personal failures. Environments, relationships, expectations, and organizational structures influence what people can access in any given moment.
This cohort creates space to step outside the immediate demands of leadership, understand what is shaping capacity, and make thoughtful decisions about what should change. The goal is not to become endlessly capable of carrying more. The goal is to lead in ways that protect the conditions people need to think, connect, adapt, and contribute.
About the Facilitator
The Regulation Shift™ Leadership Cohort is created and facilitated by Dr. Tracy K. Larson, an experienced leader, psychologist, educator, and applied researcher.
Her work focuses on how pressure, adversity, relationships, and environmental conditions influence regulation and capacity across individuals, teams, and organizations. She translates research and systems thinking into practical approaches leaders can use within complex, real world settings.
