Foundations of The Regulation Shift™
Rethinking Behavior and Learning
An introduction to the central framework of the Regulation Shift:
Environment → Regulation → Capacity → Learning
Explore why people may think, communicate, participate, connect, or learn differently under different conditions. This series provides the foundation for applying the model across personal, relational, educational, and organizational settings.
Designing Environments for Regulation
Examine what supports regulation, what disrupts it, and why environmental conditions matter.
This series helps participants look beyond individual behavior to identify how expectations, routines, sensory conditions, relationships, communication, and structure influence capacity.
Relational Track
For people whose lives or work depend on communication, connection, and relationships.
Regulation Between People
Explore how everyday interactions shape regulation, relationships, communication, and learning.
This series examines what happens between people under pressure and how relational patterns can either protect or reduce capacity. Participants will consider practical ways to support connection, repair, and more responsive interactions.
Leadership and Systems Track
For leaders navigating complexity, competing demands, implementation, and organizational change.
Decisions Under Pressure
Explore how regulation shapes decision making in complex, demanding situations.
This series helps participants recognize how pressure affects attention, flexibility, communication, judgment, and access to existing knowledge. It offers practical ways to create the conditions needed for clearer and more deliberate decisions.
Leading for Capacity
Apply the Regulation Shift to leadership, systems design, and organizational change.
This series examines how leadership practices, workplace conditions, communication patterns, competing priorities, and organizational structures affect individual and collective capacity. Participants will identify practical changes that support both people and performance over time.
Learning With a Team or Organization
Learning series may be used individually or incorporated into a broader organizational learning experience.
Team options may include facilitated discussion, customized reflection activities, live workshops, consultation, or implementation support.
