Payment information is processed through an outside payment provider. The Regulation Shift does not directly receive or store complete credit card information.

Consultations and Transcripts
Virtual consultations may be conducted through Google Meet. When transcription is used, participants will be notified and asked for consent before transcription begins.
Transcripts may contain personal, professional, or organizational information discussed during the meeting. A copy may be provided to the participant for their own reference. Transcripts and related meeting materials may also be stored within Google Workspace and retained only as reasonably necessary for service delivery, documentation, or legal and administrative purposes.
Participants should avoid sharing personally identifiable information about children, clients, patients, employees, or other individuals unless it is necessary and appropriate to do so.
Outside Services
The Regulation Shift may use outside providers for website hosting, scheduling, payment processing, email communication, document storage, analytics, and virtual meetings. These providers process information according to their own privacy practices and terms.
Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with the law, protect safety, prevent fraud, or protect the rights of The Regulation Shift or others.
Sensitive Information
The website and general contact forms are not intended for medical records, protected health information, student records, emergency communications, or highly sensitive personal information.
The Regulation Shift does not represent that general consultation services or website communications are covered by HIPAA, FERPA, or psychotherapy confidentiality protections.

Reasonable measures are used to protect information. However, no website, email system, virtual meeting platform, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
